Probably one of the most impressive inland Winter storm cells I have seen to date on January 31st 2013 captured during a local storm chase in the countryside near Gulladuff looking SW miles away at a large cell which was producing a strong downdraught of rain and hail stones. This cell is notable for it's shocking quality for such a cold month of the year with straight back edge to the updraught and huge anvil all back lit by the sun. This was taken with a 10mm lens with a field of view covering 107 degrees so this cell was massive in size for Winter standards, read the report for more information. * All images are available for sale in the form of photo prints, canvas or digital files for licensing, if you are interested in a purchase simply drop me an email.
