Beautiful severe thunderstorm which formed on a well marked convergence zone over the fields which I captured at 10mm ultra wide angle on the main Cookstown to Omagh road while the storm was making a bee line for Cookstown. On view is the dramatic dark shelf cloud along the leading edge which would soon produce rotation along with the heavy precip core which was rich with pink c-g lightning which lit up the torrential rain curtains. This was a thrilling storm chase on July 25th 2013 which my friend and I chased all across the country, this storm produced torrential rain, large hail, flooding, funnel clouds and nasty c-g lightning, read the report for more information. * All images are available for sale in the form of photo prints, canvas or digital files for licensing, if you are interested in a purchase simply drop me an email. |
