Noctilucent web glowing electric blue over the Maghera countryside on June 12th 2008 captured using my old Fujifilm S6500FD. This was a particularly complex display with a vast array of NLC structure on show giving the overall appearance of an Alien form illuminating the northern horizon close to bright Capella visible to the upper right. Of interest are the well defined lacunosus holes of various diameter arranged in lines sporting shadowed pits with rings crossing over a vibrant band with sharpe edges and knots, quite a beauty indeed. * All images are available for sale in the form of photo prints, canvas or digital files for licensing, if you are interested in a purchase simply drop me an email.
