A large nocturnal cell over the ocean producing rain and hail stones with nasty dark skies approaching the shore at Ballintoy Harbour on December 29th 2012, the cell was in the process of turning outflow dominant and shedding it's cloud structure across the sky, it looked great in partial darkness and partially lit by moonlight near the beach with an isolated cottage on shore, the downdraught of wind hit the shore shaking my tripod and ending my shoot, read the full image report from this night here. * All images are available for sale in the form of photo prints, canvas or digital files for licensing, if you are interested in a purchase simply drop me an email.
